Yes, I created metatags with the help of my Web master. But I didn't spend time or money submitting to search engines because I wasn't techie enough.

Boost your search engine placement the easy, non-techie way. My Web site is now # 2 listing in Google.com. If you are in the top 20 businesses listings you are in good shape.

Here's How:

1. Makeover your signature file that goes out with every email you send. Start submitting to dozens of opt-in ezines who want your articles. In your signature add links with your free offer. Offer your free ezine.Offer a free report through an autoresponder through a link.

2. Submit your excellent, well-edited short articles that include your best key words to Web sites and ePublishers looking for new material. They want and need your information. Follow directions for each site. Many want a list of key words and a description. From submitting 85 articles to 15 initial Web sites and 25 ezines, my Web site link is on 987 other Web sites. Amazing.

3. Makeover your Web home page. Place those top key words in the top half of this page and the rest. Search engines pick up these and you receive a higher placement. For instance, my top key words include: book coaching, eBook, ePublishing, self-publishing, Online promotion, Web copywriting, Free Publicity.

4. Don't submit to Web sites who don't market. When you go to your search engines like Altavista.com or Google.com., if the site you plan to submit articles doesn't come up in the top 20, spend your valuable promotion tip with only the winners.

Non-techie marketing tips will help your company rise above the chaff. Start your campaign today.
