The "Advanced" tab allows you to specify several additional page and section settings:
Page Type: can be "Content", "External URL",
"Attachment", or "Internal URL". See the "Add Page" screen shot for more information about page types.
Show in Menu: Often times, the navigation of the
site and/or the site map for the site will be dynamically driven by the
Site Manager software. The Show in Menu option allows you to hide
certain pages from showing in the site menus/navigation.
Show Children in Menu 1: Typically this setting is used by a developer to control whether children of the current page are shown as a sub menu in a top level menu.
Show Children in Menu 2: Typically this setting is used by a developer to control whether children of the current page are shown as a sub menu on the left or right side of the page.
Menu Title: This field is sometimes used by the templates as an alternative to the page title field when generating a dynamic menu.
Menu Item Width: This is an optional setting that is used to assist with the creation of a dynamic image menu on the site.
Menu Image On: This field is used to specify the URL of the image that is shown when you mouse over a menu item.
Menu Image Off: This field is used to specify the URL of the image that is shown when you mouse off a menu item.
Password Protect: You can password protect a single
page and/or an entire section of the site simply by selecting, "Protect
Page" or "Protect Section".
Is Home Page: Set this to Yes if this page is the home page.
Unique Page Name: This is an advanced setting that allows developers to reference a page with a unique page name. Do not change this setting.
Section Outer Template: When the site is first setup, one or more page templates will have been created and can be selected with this field.
A template defines anything that's not part of the content area of
the page. The page header, page footer, and navigation are typically
included in a template. The selected template will be inherited by all
the sub pages of the section.
Section Inner Template: Typically this field is
left blank, but sometimes additional formatting for the content area of
the page is required. If this is the case, you can select an inner
template from this drop down. The selected template will be inherited
by all the sub pages of the section.
Outer Template / Inner Template: The outer and
inner template fields work the same as the section outer and section
inner template fields, except that they override the section settings
and only apply to this one page.
Inherited Outer Template / Inherited Inner Template: For informational purposes, you can see the templates that have been inherited for this page.
