Online Business Results
When it comes to doing business online, the one thing that matters is getting results!
It's not enough to simply get traffic, your site needs targeted traffic that converts into sales and leads.
To do this, make sure that there is a specific "call to action" for each type of visitor that comes to your site.
For example, you may want a visitor to sign up for a newsletter, or fill out a form to request more information, or to purchase a product from your online store.
Each one of these actions can be measured. And it is these actions, or "conversions", that are the true measure of a successful site!
Our Vision
Our goal is to help you successfully market you business on the Internet by providing the very best web marketing tools, strategies, education, and/or services.
Rules For Online Success
Create a traffic strategy.
Similar to having a business plan or a marketing plan, you need a plan for how your are going to get traffic to your site. What keyword phrases are you going to target? Can your keyword phrases generate enough traffic to make your site viable? If so, how difficult or expensive is it going to be to compete for those visitors?
Optimize your site to get free search engine traffic.
Research has confirmed that 80% of internet users use search engines to find products, services, and relevant content. Of those people who use search engines, the overwhelming majority will not look past the first or second page of results to find your website. Simply put, short of paying for every visitor to your site, if your site isn't ranked near the top of the results, your web site is not visible to your customers.
Get external links to link to your site.
In addition to having a search engine friendly web site, your site need links from other sites in order to rank well in the search engines. Search engines, such as Google, count external links to your site as if they are votes. The more votes for your site, the higher you rank.
Track and test every change to your site.
Using direct marketing principles, it's been proven that a simple one word change in a headline can dramatically effect the results of your site. Test each aspect of your site until you know exactly what converts and what doesn't. To do this effectively, make sure you have the tools to track visitors from each traffic source all the way through to each conversion, such as a sign-up, a lead, or a sale.
Use the latest internet marketing tools and strategies to promote and manage your site.
To promote your site, make sure your site can track ads, track conversions, and analyze your traffic.
To build and manage an email list, use a list management tool and perhaps an autoresponder that will let you automatically schedule the same series of emails to each new subscriber.
To sell products, integrate a shopping cart into your site and consider using an affiliate management tool that will allow other webmasters to promote your site.
To interact with your customers, consider using a blog, forum, on-site search, poll, and/or survey application.
To update the content on your site, make sure that your site comes with an easy to use content management tool. A good content management tool will allow users without any technical skills to make content changes.
Use search engine friendly applications.
In order to insure that the search engines can index all of your content, applications that dynamically generate web pages, such as shopping carts, need to generate search engine friendly links and content. Before selecting and installing any application on your web site, do a careful evaluation to make sure that it is search engine friendly.
Online Success Solution
Traditionally, if you wanted a dynamic web site, it meant paying a programmer to develop your site from scratch or to piece meal your site together from applications that don't work well together.
Not any more...
My team and I have spent the last seven years reviewing, building and integrating our own "best-of-breed" site promotion and site management tools. Each tool has been selected, modified, and/or built from scratch to be search engine friendly, easy to use, and to work together!
The tools, strategies and techniques improve with each new site that is built. Years of customer requests and experience have been built right into the tools.
Because we already have many, if not all, of the tools that you need to be successful online, this means that you can target more of your budget where it belongs... on the marketing and branding of your products and services.
